The Inland Water Way cruise was great, we especially enjoyed being part of the boat crew as we went through the Locks. Next year were planning on the Lake Huron, Lake Michigan Cruise.

On behalf of my family I would like to thank you for a wonderful ride through the Inland Waterway; perfect for the whole family including my mother 75+ years old down to my granddaughter 3 years old. The price was quite reasonable for 6 people. We found the locks to be a learning experience. I realize our trip was longer than usual (10 hours) and we would like to thank you for; taking your time along the rivers so we could see, take pictures and feed the swans and ducks; stopping at Indian River so we could stretch our legs, eat our picnic lunch, get an ice cream, walk thru a couple shops and the Chamber of Commerce and Mullet Lake so my grandkids could do a little swimming; plus the use of your grill so we could grill up some burgers and hot dogs for dinner.

Overall we had great day filled with quality family time. A day we'll all remember. Again Thank you.

Hi Captain Fred and Ellenor-

We had a great weekend. We love the UP. We've traveled all around the UP by car and it was a real treat to see it by water. We enjoyed meeting you and going over cruise options. Thank you for helping us design our cruise. We enjoyed the ride from Cheboygan past Bois Blanc Island to Detour and up the St Mary's River to the Soo locks. It was a treat to go through the US locks out onto Superior and return through the Canadian locks. The return trip back to Detour through the St Mary's river, around the island of St Joseph, and through the beginning part of the North Channel was very interesting. The scenery was beautiful. The overnight stay aboard your boat in Detour was unique. The view of Lake Huron and Drummon Island were spectacular. We enjoyed our dinner at a local lakeside diner. It was very nice of the Foghorn Restaurant to send an employee over to the marina to give us a ride to and from dinner. Please pass on a thank you to the restaurant owner for us. The ride back to Cheboygan was just as smooth as could be. We realize we may have lucked out with the weather and water conditions which added to our cruise being perfect. Again thank you.

It was a special sight going under the Big Mack and around Mackinaw Island.

Thank you for letting us change the cruise route at the last minute.
