Captain Fred is a very qualified Merchant Mariner with over 30 years experience in boating around the world. He spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, North Atlantic, Bearing Sea, and both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Surrounding Michigan he has sailed Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, and even the North Channel. He has been a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and served as Vice Commander of his unit. He is a Certified License Mariner by the U.S. Coast Guard (Masters up to 100 Ton). During your cruise aboard the Knot Yacht Yet his number one goal will be the safety and well being of each passenger on board. Before each cruise your captain will go over your cruise route, weather outlook & safety information the day of your tour and answer any questions you may have.
